Protesting Parnell's veto of Denali Kid Care expansion

People gathered in downtown Anchorage this afternoon to protest Governor Sean Parnell's veto of expanding the Denali Kid Care program. Parnell is a longtime supporter of the program, but defended his decision as a response to his recent realization that the program funds abortions. The program does fund abortions, but only when medically necessary.
